![]() Live View Shooting with Canon EOS 1000D in Canon EOS Digital Cameras. hey guys to take my space pics i have my cannon 1000d connected to my SW 130p via t thread and i have to use my x2 barlow to get focus out enough, it works really well and will post some pics later, i dont think they are bad for a noob,the thing is i keep hearing people saying the live view is go. It is not that the display switches to viewfinder after some seconds, it is that the camera goes to sleep mode. ![]() Thought I'd upload a photo of my little do-it-all workhorse, since I still have the borrowed 400D till tomorrow. All my previous efforts to take a photo of the camera were hindered by the fact that the only other camera I've got is my lousy compact. Well, what can I say about the recently repaired 1000D? It's a very awesome little camera. Sure, some features are missing, such as the eye sensor, or the IR receiver, there are fewer AF points, and it uses the sensor of the older 400D, but that's not a big deal really.īought it on the second of January 2009 for just 349€ with the stabilized kit lens, and had tremendous fun with it ever since. Leaving out these little additions means that it's cheaper and has fewer things that can break. The image processor was the newest at that time, and allowed for live-view like on the 450D. UPDATE: It died on me a second time, with the same error message being displayed whenever I turn it on.
